Ok here's an update....I found and purchased a dress last Tuesday. Jake did very well on his report card, mainly E's and 1 G. Madi is on the B Honor Roll for the Fourth grade. Both kids were in the Lewes Christmas Parade on Saturday. Madi rode with the "Big kids" on the Church float thanks to Ryan inviting her. Jake rode the float for his Boy Scout Pack.
Saturday was a long day!!! We had to be in Dover by 9:30 a.m. because Madi's group received the Richard Bassett Award at the Delaware Day Signer's Awards Ceremony 4th Grade Competition. The class was acknowledged, they performed their Preamble Rap and beat 20 schools in Delaware. Madi was very excited and we are very proud. She received a Quill pen and brought it home yesterday. Madi and her girlfriend Cassie went to a birthday party at the Millsboro Bowling alley. Alex, Jake (when he wasn't partying with the girls) and I bowled and I KICKED THEIR BUTTS!!!! Jake did get a few strikes by himself so I am impressed. However, he was talkin smack to Alex from the first 7 pins he knocked down...he's been hanging out with Jacob Cunningham. We had a great time then we had to rush back to Lewes for the Parade.
The kids had a great time and then we ended the night at the Smiths' party....we tore the kids away around 11ish p.m....that'about it.
Oh and don't ask what the dress...I mean Toga looks like. You will see the 600 count cream colored toga I will be wearing in just 3 months. I've found a few creative ways of wearing the toga-halter, 2 straps or even a 1 shoulder thing....so many choices!!!
