Hello Everyone!!! Welcome to our blog. I'm new at this but thought it would be easier to share things, i.e. stories, achievements, pictures, etc. w/ everyone. As of right now, we have not turned on the security feature; do to the fact that we don't know everyone's email addresses so just email me at rocklewes13@yahoo.com and I'll get you signed in. Ok well, wish me luck hopefully this isn't too hard ha ha. I hope to be on at least once a week but with softball and tee ball coming up it may be more or less.
We hope everyone is well. We can't wait until the weather is nice and lasts longer than two days at a time.
Madi has finished her first season of basketball at the Y. She did very well for her first season!!! Her banquet is Tuesday night. Jake is going to play tee ball this spring season and not soccer. He broke one tee already practicing w/ Pa in the yard. Madi will be playing on my Minor League softball team (??team name) and I hope to get the line-up Tuesday night (I know a few players). Madi plays her last winter/spring indoor hockey game this coming Sunday 3/25 @ 330pm at Cape.
Madi has State testing AGAIN this week...she enjoys it b/c she doesn't have homework...yeah yeah I'm not complaining either!!! : ) She was able to take in a board game on Friday so she took Monopoly then and now?? Oh and they are allowed to chew gum during the test!!! (oops that was a "secret") She had to spit it out the other day b/c she blew a bubble but she was fine with it because " I was honest and I got up and spit it out." Alex and I gave her kudos for being honest and responsible.
Madi went to her first baby shower yesterday. Alex's cousin Ashlynne's shower (due in April) she had a blast!!! She played with Aimee's (Ashlynne's sister) daughter Katie and they were wearing the chocolate from the chocolate fountain all over their faces (too cute!!!) Just wait until Kristen's shower in a few months (it will be warmer and we can hose them down then!!)
Jake stayed with Alex, Adam and Mr. Brown and Amanda (Adam's Girlfriend) came over to keep them in line ; ) ha ha lol. He was so excited and packed his "suitcase" before we headed up there. So far no horror stories and as far as I know nothing was broken! YEA!!! Jake was all tuckered out when we got home. He told Alex, "I don't like nappies." So needless to say he didn't take one...it was late anyway. Jake totally enjoyed his day with the guys...which was much needed if ya know what I mean!!! lol
Welcome Home to Gerry (3/19). Happy Birthday to Gramps (3/22).
Ok that's all that's coming to my mind for the moment....I'm sure I have forgotten something....
Anywho...hope you all have a great week! Take care : )
Stephi
